BSA Golden Wings Cutaway

Sometimes exhibitors at the OldVelos VeloExpo bring along some unusual memorabilia. This year we got a chance to see a 1950’s BSA Golden Wings from the inside out! This frame was not part of some fifties time trialists attempt to lighten his bike, it was used by the manufacturers to show the quality of their product.
The owner got it from the old Irish Raleigh factory on Hanover Quay in Dublin. Fortunately he got it out of there before the factory burnt down!
