This month we have another interesting Boschetti from Alessandro Mastroianni, an Italian now living in Germany. The bike has an unusual but interesting component mix. This is a hybrid of old and new. Built on a 1990’s Boschetti 2nd gen. Multi Shape frame in mint condition it has a mix of Campagnolo components and a carbon fork.

The frame is custom built in sloping style with an extra long head tube to avoid back pain or for a person with a good appetite.
This is the 2nd generation Boschetti Multi Shape which can be recognised on the seat stays end lugs (1st gen is without seat stay end lugs). It has pantographs literally everywhere.
The Columbus MS tubing is a special tube set which was developed in collaboration with Gilco Design in the beginning of the 1980s and released in 1987.
Each of the tubes has a different shape: The top tube is slightly oval, the non-drive side chainstay is triangular shaped and oval on the drive-side, the down tube is in teardrop shape with pointed edge facing the ground
