We have recently finished restoring our immaculate Henry Burton. It has been given a complete clean and overhaul and finished off with the addition of Brooks tan leather bar tape and new white Dia Compe brake hoods.

We purchased this immaculate Henry Burton from a chap in Stafford after seeing it advertised as ‘blue bike’ on Facebook’s marketplace. We contacting the Henry Burton shop in Stafford with the frame number hoping to ascertain information on its history but never received a reply. Here’s all the information we know:

Date not known but estimated mid to late 80s judging by the component mix. Handlebar and stem 3TTT, Shimano Biopace 40-52 12 speed (very rare), Shimano levers Weinmann Ace side pull brakes . 27” hand built Henry Burton wheels with stainless steel spokes, Kinlin super alloy rims and Maillard hubs Panaracer Pasela gumwall tyres. SKS mudguards Black Rolls saddle. For some unknown reason this bike has seen very little use.
